Power Puck® II Profiler and UviCure® Plus II Profiler

The “Profiler” versions of their Power Puck II and UviCure Plus II function as a standard Power Puck II or UviCure Plus II instrument while adding the ability to transfer the collected data and irradiance profile to a computer via a USB connector.  The transferred data can be analyzed with EIT’s PowerView Software® II which allows the user to easily compare files to look at the conditions, lamp focus and lamp type.  PowerView Software® II adds several new features including the ability to analyze a single UV band and data from four individual files in graph and data format, easily transfer screen shots for reports and the ability for users to add file information via a custom template

Uvicure Plus® II and UV Power Puck® II

Uvicure Plus II and UV Power Puck II are small, portable, self-contained radiometers that measure UV peak irradiance (Watts/cm²) and energy density (J/cm²) in UV curing applications.  The single bandwidth unit (Uvicure Plus II) and the 4 bandwidth unit (UV Power Puck II) help establish UV levels for proper curing of inks, adhesives, solder masks and epoxies.  Units are available in low, mid and high range versions, and also available in a 395 LED monitoring band.

UV PowerMAP® and UV MAP Plus®

These profiling and temperature measurement systems travel through a UV system and collect data on peak irradiance (W/cm²) and energy density (J/cm²) as well as temperature. The collected information is viewed with PowerView® software in graphic or tabular format and can be archived for historical purposes.  Profiling radiometers allow the user to “see” exactly what is happening at every instant of travel through the UV system.  The PowerMAP can collect data on 4 different bandwidths; UV MAP Plus collects data on one standard bandwidth.  


MicroCure Miniature radiometer is an extremely small profile radiometer, both in diameter and height.  This small size allows it to be placed in tight areas and to work well for small container curing (cans, tubes, bottles).  MicroCure  gathers peak irradiance (W/cm²) and energy density (J/cm²) values which are then displayed on a small stand-alone DataReader.  MicroCure is a disposable unit.  After 200 readings or approximately one year (whichever comes first), replace your MicroCure with a fresh unit. 


SpotCure UV Intensity monitor is a hand-held UV radiometer used to measure the output of spot-curing systems to determine light guide degradation.  SpotCure's measurement head accommodates light guides of various sizes.  The unit displays the peak irradiance in W/cm².  


3DCure is a unique system for measuring the energy density (J/cm²) and peak irradiance (W/cm²) accurately on large and/or multi-dimensional objects.  Up to 32 sensors in any combination of UV bandwidths can be daisy-chained together and placed on every exposure surface in order to feed information back from up to 32 varied measurement points.  Data is transferred to you PC via Cure_3D® software. Information can then be exported to a spreadsheet to allow analysis.

Compact Sensor

This small, robust, stable sensor is highly resistant to solarization.  Sensors have sealed optics to prevent fouling and an optional air/nitrogen purge to keep the sensor clean and cool.  Sensors connect to all of EIT’s online monitoring electronics.  A 0-10V and a  4-20 milliamp signal output is generated for each Compact Sensor when used with one of EIT's conditioning units such as the Din Rail, MultiBrite or Online UV Intensity Display.  These output signals can be interfaced to a PLC or other control system.  Available in a choice of several UV bandwidths (A, B, C & V).

EMI Compact Sensor

The EMI (electromagnetic interference) Compact Sensor is a new product that features the same stable robust optics as the Compact Sensor. The EMI sensor has additional circuitry to allow it to be used in electrically noisy environments. Examples include applications where the sensor must be mounted very close to a power supply or in UV sources with a tremendous amount of RF energy. The EMI Compact Sensor must be used with the EMI Din Rail and EMI cabling for maximum protection. Contact EIT for more details.

Compact Sensor Quart Rod

The EIT Compact Sensor Quartz Rod can be used to obtain continuous online readings in environments where space is extremely limited or the temperature will not allow direct placement of a an EIT Compact Sensor. The Quartz Rod is 3.94” (10 cm) in length and transmits the UV intensity to an EIT Compact Sensor (CS-1). The CS-1 purge is removed and the Quartz Rod is installed with the supplied screw. Online UV Intensity Display Module 

Intended for applications requiring a front mount display, this single UV lamp monitor receives an intensity signal from a Compact Sensor and displays the intensity relative to a pre-set 100% intensity  (100% representing full output  in a bandwidth of interest when the lamp is new).  Online UV Intensity Display Module provides for a user settable low limit threshold alarm.  The front panel LED displays a red “below” or green “above” light based on this pre-set low level threshold.   The system requires 24 AC/DC power and outputs a 0-10V intensity signal proportional to UV intensity.

DIN Rail

This single UV lamp monitor receives an intensity signal from a Compact Sensor.  DIN Rail units have no panel display, and rely on shared display capability.  The 0-10V analog output is proportional to UV and is designed for PLC or other control system feedback.  Units are DIN Rail mountable to allow monitoring of many lamps in a small area.  The system requires 24V AC/DC power.
