EIT Leesburg Facility Grand Opening

Electronic Instrumentation and Technology LLC (EIT LLC) held a Grand Opening and ribbon cutting ceremony on March 24, 2017 to “officially” open our new facility in Leesburg, Virginia. The ceremony and open house culminated over three years of planning, hard work, and transition from our previous facilities in Sterling.

Morning activities, including the ribbon cutting, were for EIT customers, suppliers, employees and regional/state officials. EIT was honored to have Leesburg Mayor Kelly Burk and Phyllis Randall, Chairperson of the Loudoun County Board of Supervisors join us. Mayor Burk and Chairperson Randall were joined by multiple officials from the Town of Leesburg, Loudoun County, and State of Virginia.

In the afternoon, EIT hosted a community open house and provided guided tours for over two hundred friends, families and neighbors.

The new 72,000 ft2  building is a purpose built facility designed for efficient manufacturing of high technology electronics and it features ESD flooring, temperature & humidity controls and energy efficient LED lighting. This new facility allows EIT to combine its’ operations in Leesburg that were previously in two separate locations in Sterling. This new facility serves as corporate headquarters and helps support EIT’s manufacturing facilities in Danville, VA and Salem, NH.

“It is a great day as we open this new facility, but honestly, I am more proud of our employees and their dedication to our customers. It is particularly rewarding to see the number of long term employees we have. I personally do not consider this a job, I love coming here everyday” said Joe May, Founder, and Chairman of EIT.

“For over 40 years, EIT has been a premiere electronics manufacturer and this new facility will give us the ability to grow and continue to serve our customers for many years to come. We built this facility based on our needs, customers’ requirements, and industry know-how”, said David Faliskie, President and Chief Operating Officer.

Please contact EIT to discuss your electronic manufacturing needs and schedule a visit to see our newest facility.
