DANVILLE, VIRGINIA NOVEMBER 21, 2011 EIT, LLC (www.eit.com) dedicated their new facility at the Cyber Park in Danville with a ribbon cutting ceremony, open house and lunch for customers, suppliers, employees and local & state officials. The 60,000 square foot building is the second manufacturing facility in Danville for EIT and is named for Hal P. Demuth, a long term EIT contributor and board member. EIT, LLC (www.eit.com) announces the opening of a second manufacturing facility in Danville, Virginia. The new 60,000 square foot facility at the Cyber Park in Danville is the second facility in Danville and fourth overall facility for EIT. The new facility increases EIT’s total facility space to just under 200,000 square feet. EIT’s new facility will focus on manufacturing of printed circuit board assemblies (PCBA). The facility will also offer test, mechanical assembly and fulfillment services. The facility was designed to be flexible and features an open floor plan, ANSI/ESD S20.20 compliant flooring and climate & humidity control throughout the facility. EIT’s manufacturing services are supported by an experienced engineering team that offers electronic, mechanical and design services.
