EIT, LLC (www.eit.com) announces the opening of a second manufacturing facility in Danville, Virginia. The new 60,000 square foot facility at the Cyber Park in Danville is the second facility in Danville and fourth overall facility for EIT. The new facility increases EIT’s total facility space to just under 200,000 square feet. EIT’s new facility will focus on manufacturing of printed circuit board assemblies (PCBA). The facility will also offer test, mechanical assembly and fulfillment services. The facility was designed to be flexible and features an open floor plan, ANSI/ESD S20.20 compliant flooring and climate & humidity control throughout the facility. EIT’s manufacturing services are supported by an experienced engineering team that offers electronic, mechanical and design services.

EIT will hold an open house and dedication ceremony on November 18, 2011 for the new Danville facility. EIT, in its 35th year of operations, first opened a facility in Danville in 2005. The current Danville facility will be used to support EIT’s cabling, wire harness, machining and sheet metal operations.
