EIT, LLC, a Sterling, Virginia based electronic manufacturing services (EMS) provider, has relocated their New England operations from Methuen, Massachusetts to Salem, New Hampshire.

The opening culminated eleven months of planning and hard work following EIT’s acquisition last January of a contract manufacturer in Methuen, MA. Geographically, the new facility is five miles from the old facility. From a manufacturing, environmental, equipment and ESD control standpoint, the new EIT facility in Salem is light years ahead of the previous facility.

The new facility was renovated to EIT specifications. Square footage was increased by 50% to a total of 30,000 ft2. The building features ESD flooring throughout the facility, new energy efficient lighting and new equipment including Mydata/Universal SMT lines and a new Aqua Storm 200 wash system.

The new facility is located at 19 Keewaydin Drive, Suite 3, Salem, NH 03079, close to Interstate 93 and the NH/MA border. The phone number of the new facility is 603-685-3055.

The EIT Salem facility supports both prototype and production builds. EIT plans to hold an open house during the first quarter of 2014.

David Faliskie, EIT President and COO stated that “The new EIT Salem facility shows EIT’s commitment to our customers and the entire New England region. In January, EIT will begin our 38th year in business. EIT’s physical resources, along with our dedicated staff, create a situation which allows us to meet our customer’s requirements and keep EIT as a premiere EMS provider.”
