Management

EIT's management team has a broad base of experience in the design and production of electronic equipment:

Backing up the senior service management team is a strong team of design and manufacturing engineers, technical specialists, program managers, buyers, assemblers and support staff.

  • Joe T. May, Chairman of the Board and Chief Technology Officer, founded the company in 1977. Joe is a graduate of Virginia Tech and a Professional Engineer with an extensive background in circuit design. He holds 22 patents and has several applications pending in areas ranging from octane rating to measurement of ultra-violet energy for industrial applications. Joe is the author of numerous technical papers and serves as the Delegate for the 33rd District in the Virginia General Assembly. Joe was presented with Virginia's "Lifetime Achievement Award for Industry" in 1996, named Greater Washington Area, Engineer of the Year in 2001 and inducted into the Virginia Tech Academy of Engineering Excellence in 2009.
  • David Faliskie, President and Chief Operating Officer, joined EIT in June 2007. David has over 15 years of leadership experience in the electronics manufacturing arena through various roles within Flextronics, Suntron and Sanmina-SCI. In his current role, David has operational responsibilities for all of EIT’s facilities in both Sterling and Danville, Virginia  David holds a BS Degree in Accounting from the University of Scranton.
  • Jim Raymont, Director Sales, has been with EIT since 1993. Jim oversees sales for both EIT's EMS and Instrument Markets Group. He has experience working with a variety of customers worldwide and in several industries. Jim frequently presents seminars on UV measurement and process control worldwide. Prior to joining EIT, Jim spent thirteen years in technical sales, marketing and management, and six years as a high school science educator. He holds BS in Science Education from Ohio State University.
  • Lou Vannatta , General Manager-Special Manufacturing Services, has over 25 years of electronics manufacturing experience. Lou manages our Sterling SMS group which includes Mechanical Assembly, Box-build and the Instrument Markets Group. Lou attended State University of New York and has an AS in Electronics Technology from Broome Community College.
  • Steve Brown, Director Engineering Services, joined EIT in 2005. Steve oversees the Engineering and IT groups and also has responsibility for Document Control and Engineering Prototype Services.   Steve is a graduate of University of Massachusetts (UMASS) with a BSEE and has over 30 years experience In both product development and operations primarily in the telecom industry.  He has extensive experience in successfully guiding products through the complete development cycle from initial design concept through manufacturing.
  • John Hare, ITAR Compliance Officer, joined EIT in 1984 as a mechanical assembler. John gained experience in our Test, Customer Repair, Mechanical Design, Senior Application Developer, SMT Programming and Process Engineering groups. John's hard work, dedication, real world experience and training have allowed him to advance at EIT.  John was promoted to the position of Manager of Process Engineering and SMT in 2002. In 2005 he became Director, Process Engineering and SMT, and Director of Manufacturing in 2007. John was instrumental in getting our Danville Demuth facility opened and operating and recently accepted the challenge of ITAR Compliance Officer.  
  • Marc Krunshiski, Director Supply Chain Management, joined EIT in 2009 with 30 years of manufacturing, operations, purchasing and supply chain experience. Marc's experience in implementing new ERP systems at previous companies was utilized for EIT's transition to our new system in May 2010. Marc is active in APICS and has attended numerous courses, programs and seminars to supplement the experience he has gained on the job.  
  • John Fotenos, Corporate Manager QA and ISO Management Representative joined EIT in 2009 and brought over 32 years of quality experience to EIT. Under John, EIT transitioned to ISO 9001:2008 Quality System compliance and also achieved ISO 13485:2003 (medical devices) registration. John is a Certified Quality Engineer through ASQ and prior to joining EIT led three other companies through the ISO registration process. His manufacturing background includes experience in printed circuit board manufacturing, mechanical and electronic assembly, machining and fabrication of metal products and molded plastics. John has managed quality systems for the automotive industry, FAA and for government DCAS audits/documentation approval. John attended college at Shepherd University and has successfully completed multiple quality assurance courses from Oklahoma State University, Wittenberg University and Rutgers University.
  • Aaron Breneman, Controller, joined EIT in January 1995.  Aaron has 25 years of accounting experience and holds a BS Degree in Finance from Virginia Tech.
  • Teresa R. Quigley, Manager Human Resources, joined EIT in 2011 and brought over 20 years of Human Resource experience within a manufacturing environment to EIT.  Teresa manages Human Resources for all EIT facilities. She holds a Bachelors Degree in Business Management from Kaplan University and earned her Professional Human Resources Certification in 2001.  Teresa is currently a member of the Society for Human Resources Management.
  • Jalil Faieq, Director Manufacturing,  joined EIT in December of 2003 and has over 25 years of electronic manufacturing experience. Jalil's experience prior to joining EIT included large and small OEM and EMS operations with both domestic and international manufacturing locations. Jalil has been responsible for Processing Engineering, SMT operations and prototype assembly services since 2005. Jalil holds a BS degree in Electrical Engineering from Kabul University and A.A.S. degree in Computer Information System from Northern Virginia Community College.
  • Darrell Oakes, Operations Manager-Danville, joined EIT in 2006. Darrell's experience prior to joining EIT included work in engineering (test, equipment & manufacturing) and in operations management for SCI System and Solectron. Darrell graduated from Danville Community College in 1987 with AS degree in Electronics
