Facilities

EIT currently operates five  facilities which total 210,000 square feet.

Two facilities are located in Northern Virginia (Sterling), two facilities are located in Danville, Virginia and one facility is located in Methuen, Massachusetts.  

See below for an overview of each EIT facility.

Main Sterling Facility

  • 60,000 square foot facility
  • Acts as main corporate offices
  • Produces medium to high technology electronic assemblies
  • R&D, Design and Engineering Resources including prototype builds

SMS (Special Manufacturing Services) Sterling Facility

  • 30,000 square foot facility, one block from EIT's main Sterling facility
  • Primary electro mechanical (box build) facility
  • Temperature and humidity controlled, ANSI ESD 20.20 compliant floors
  • Flexible assembly cells, functional testing, integration & system level builds
  • Warehousing & worldwide order fulfillment
  • Aftermarket Service & Depot Repair

Danville Riverview Facility

  • 40,000 square foot facility located in lower cost USA region
  • The Danville Riverview facility currently supports
  • EIT's machining & sheet metal operations
  • Cabling & wire harness operations
  • Mechanical Assembly
  • The Danville Riverview and Demuth facilities provides redundancy and disaster recovery capabilities

Danville Demuth Facility

  • EIT opened the Demuth Facility in November 2011
  • The Demuth facility is 60,000 square feet with room for future expansion 
  • The new building will support EIT's EMS (SMT/TH) operations in Danville 
  • The capabilities will also expand to support RoHS and BGA technology

EIT Northeast (ENE) Operations  Methuen, Massachusetts Facility

  • Facility acquired by EIT January 2013
  • The ENE facility is 20,000 square feet and is focused on EMS (production and prototype) and Assembly services
  • The ENE facility is AS9100 registered to support aerospace customers
