EIT, LLC (www.eit.com) received the Leadership in Manufacturing Award at the 2011 Technology Stars Awards Banquet held by the Southern Piedmont Technology Council (SPTC).
The award was presented November 10, 2011 at the Institute for Advanced Learning and Research in Danville, Virginia.
EIT was recognized for implementing technology to positively impact and improve manufacturing processes and applications that are helping to transform the region. EIT first established a cable assembly and machining operation in Danville in 2005. EIT has steadily expanded operations in Danville to include automated printed circuit board assembly operations. EIT opened a second facility in Danville in November 2011 to further expand their presence in the region.
