MANAGEMENT BIOGRAPHIES
EIT's service management team
has a broad base of experience in the design and production of electronic
equipment:
- Joe
T. May, Chairman
and Chief Technology Officer,
founded the company in 1977. Joe is a graduate of Virginia Tech and
a Professional Engineer with an extensive background in circuit design.
He holds 22 patents on applications ranging from octane rating to
measurement of ultra-violet light intensity. Joe is the author of
numerous technical papers and serves as the Delegate for the 33rd
District to the Virginia General Assembly. In 1996, he was presented
with Virginia's "Lifetime Achievement Award for Industry."
- David
Faliskie,
Chief Operating Officer,
joined EIT in June 2007.
David has over 10 years of leadership experience in the electronics
manufacturing arena through various roles within Flextronics, Suntron
and Sanmina-SCI. In his current role, David has operational responsibilities
for EITs three (3) facilities; two in Sterling, VA and one in
Danville, VA. David holds a BS Degree in Accounting from the University
of Scranton.
- Gene
Lindberg,
Vice President, Business Development,
former COO, joined EIT in 1996. Gene has over 25 years of experience in electronics manufacturing and printed circuit board fabrication, serving industrial and communications applications. Gene attended Frederick College in Maryland.
- Don
Nagley, SPHR,
Corporate Executive Officer,
joined EIT in 1985 as the company's first human resource professional. In March 2003 he was appointed to his current position and is involved with daily operations of the business. Don has a master's degree in Counseling and a MBA from Averett College. He is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources.
- Janis
Patella ,
Director, Quality Assurance,
came to EIT with 30 years of experience in the Quality field. Originally hired in November 2006 as Manager, Quality Engineering, Janis assumed the role as Director, QA in September 2007. She received her certification as a Six Sigma Green Belt from the University of Villanova.
- Janet
Olsen, PHR,
Director, Human Resources,
assumed the Director position in 2003 after serving in senior administrative and the HR Generalist position at EIT since 1996. She now leads the staffing efforts for the Corporation including two subsidiaries and manages the benefit and employee relations programs. Janet attended Colorado State University.
- Jim
Raymont, Director,
Sales,
has been with EIT since 1994. He was the former Director of our Instrument Markets Group. He has experience working with a variety of customers worldwide and in several industries. Prior to joining EIT, Jim spent thirteen years in technical sales, marketing and management, and six years as a high school science educator. He holds BS in Science Education from Ohio State University.
- Lou
Vannatta ,
General Manager, Special Manufacturing Services,
has over 20 years of electronics manufacturing experience. Lou manages the SMS, which includes Mechanical Assembly, Box-build and the Instrument Markets Groups. Lou attended State University of New York and has an AS in Electronics Technology from Broome Community College.
- John Hare ,
Director, Manufacturing,
joined EIT in 1984. He has extensive experience in Mechanical Assembly, Test, and our Customer Repair Departments. In 1988 John became a Mechanical Designer and was partly responsible for developing the housings for the majority of our Instrument Market Groups’ products. John then moved to the IT Department as a Senior Application Developer where he helped develop many of the tools and applications we use today. John worked as a Surface Mount Technology (SMT) Programmer until he was promoted to the position of Manager, Process Engineering and SMT in September 2002. In May of 2005 he became Director, Process Engineering and SMT, which led to his current position in March of 2007.
- Michael Duncan ,
General Manager, EIT South,
has 25 years of experience leading and growing organizations in government and private industry. Michael joined EIT in 2005 when the company acquired TWM Cabling and used it to launch EIT’s expansion in Southside Virginia. EIT South is located in Danville, VA and provides cable assembly, machining and sheet metal fabrication and printed circuit board assembly services for EIT Sterling and external customers. Michael graduated of George Mason University with a BS in Business Administration and is currently pursuing an MBA from Averett University.
Backing up the senior service management
team is a strong team of design and manufacturing engineers, technical
specialists, program managers, buyers, assemblers and support staff.
