Electronic Business has named EIT Inc of Sterling, VA to their Top 100 Contract Manufacturers list. The list was released in their September 2006 issue and is a worldwide ranking of electronic contract manufacturers.

EIT is headquartered in Sterling, VA and provides electronic manufacturing and engineering services to a wide variety of worldwide customers. EIT designs, manufactures, tests, assembles, warehouses and fulfills customer orders. EIT's services supports customer requirements for medium to high technology electronic assemblies for communications, medical, and industrial customers.

EIT operates three facilities in Sterling, VA including a 30,000 ft² state-of-the-art Special Manufacturing Services (SMS) facility that was opened in 2005.

EIT expanded operations and has opened facilities in Danville, VA, for added capacity in electronic manufacturing services, assembly of specialty cables & wire harnesses, machined & sheet metal components and conformal coating services.
